Contene was a CBD-infused luxury skincare & wellness brand for the Japanese market that I founded and managed from 2021-2025. With the brand ethos “Feel well, live beautifully,” Contene offered skin care products and 100% natural CBD oil made with high-quality, natural ingredients and CBD extracted from organic hemp plants grown in Switzerland.

I developed this brand based on my own struggles with stress and skin issues in the hopes of bringing relief to those who were dealing with similar issues. From the initial concept to every facet of the brand from visual identity to the actual management of the company, this project was my first foray into entrepreneurship. Due to a change in the Japanese regulatory environment around CBD, I subsequently decided to exit the market at the beginning of 2025.
